• 741 Answers SOURCE: You will need to remove both accounts and then re-establish your email account for e1. You can do this yourselft. First I assume that you use the same Internet Service Provider for both then the steps I am going to give you should yield the same information. First open e1 and click on Tools>Accounts. Once the Accounts are up, click on Properties, write down the all of the informaton in the General Tab, and the Servers tab paying close attention to name for the POP3 server and the SMTP server. Also, make sure you know your password.
The Connection and Advanced tabs you don't need to worry about. Once you have all of the information written down then go into e1, click on Tools, Accounts and then click on the account you want to remove then click remove. Then do the same thing for e2. Finally go back into e1, Tools>Accounts>Add and follow the instructions inputting the data you copied down.
This will remove e2 and put the email address you wanted in e1. Hope this helps. Posted on Dec 25, 2008.
